Account Verification without KTP - Account verification typically requires an identification document as proof of the user's identity. However, it can often not be done if you do not have a national ID card (KTP), especially for teenagers under the age of 17.

But don't worry, you can still verify your account on Whiz even if you don't have an ID card. You can still enjoy the benefits of account verification by uploading a photo of your Child Identity Card (KIA) or Family Card (KK). Easy, right?

How to Verify an Account Without a KTP

Before verifying your account, you must first link it to a parent's verified account. For instructions on how to link accounts, see the following article.

After that, follow these steps for account verification without an ID card.

1. Click the 'Profile' icon then select the 'Settings' icon

 On the homepage menu, click 'profile.' Then click the Settings or Pengaturan icon in the upper right corner.

2. Select 'Upgrade Account'

On the Account Settings page, select 'Upgrade Account.'

3. Click 'Start Upgrading Account'

You can see the benefits you will get from account verification. Then click 'Start Upgrading Account.'

4. Select Your Current Age

You will be asked about your current age. Select 'Under 18 Years Old.'

5. Select the Document You Want to Upload

Then, you will be given a choice of documents to upload. You can choose a KIA or KK document.

6. Take a Picture and Upload the Document

Take a picture of your KIA or KK document and make sure it is readable, clear, and not blurry.

7. Fill Out the Personal Data Form

You will then be asked to fill out your personal information. Make sure the information you provide matches the document and has no typing errors. 

Then click 'Confirm Data.'

8. Wait for the Verification Process

Account upgrading is complete! You just have to wait for the data verification process to be performed by the team within 1x24 hours.

You will receive a notification in the Whiz application regarding your verification status, whether it has been approved or rejected, as well as the reason for the rejection.
